The Vionlabs Story
On a Mission To Be The Metadata Backbone Of The Media Entertainment Industry
The Vionlabs story began because we wanted to solve the quality issues with data that is used to describe content. High-quality data is crucial for media businesses to make better decisions throughout video production, acquisition, distribution, and recommendation processes, the need for which has become even more pronounced as the streaming wars have intensified. This extreme competition has had a massive impact on customer churn.
Highly innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies
We address this through a series of highly innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies that use multi-layered scene-by-scene, second-by-second and content analysis combined with other data sources, such as consumers’ watch history.
We analyze key factors such as audio, pace, scene length, color, and sentiment to create a unique fingerprint of each content asset based on the emotional impact that it has on the audience.
The industry’s most advanced analysis of video content
This data is the most comprehensive 360-degree data source available in the industry today. The technology can be deployed through cloud-based Data as a Service (DaaS) model integrated with existing workflows. Specifically, through Vionlabs Fingerprint+ API or through an end-to-end cloud-based solution, such as the Vionlabs Content Analysis Platform. Our Content Analysis Platform is solving the issue of content discovery and user experience that over 30% of customers describe as the biggest problem facing video services today.
The resulting data is used to increase engagement through profiling, dynamic recommendation and personalization applications. Our solutions are easily integrated with existing streaming services and can be tailored for different types of content such as movies, TV series, sports, and live events. We also provide flexible pricing options that make it easy to scale our technology across any platform.
We are a media-tech company with offices in Stockholm, Sweden, and Phoenix, AZ. Vionlabs was founded in 2010 with one mission, to improve customer engagement for content and media leaders and to enhance the user experience for all TV and movie lovers. Since then our guiding star has been this: save time searching, and spend time watching.
