STOCKHOLM, March 29, 2023. Vionlabs, a leading provider of cognitive AI technology for video content, today announced the appointment of Darcy Antonellis and Jesse Redniss to its Board of Directors. The new board members are well-known veterans from the media and tech industry and will support Vionlabs as they continue to expand their product portfolio and line-up of tier 1 customers such as Deutsche Telekom, Plex, Tele2, and many more.

DARCY ANTONELLIS
Darcy Antonellis is a pioneer in the field of technical production and engineering innovation. With a career spanning over 30 years leading product and services innovations enabling D2C/e-commerce and enterprise applications. Antonellis recently held executive roles within Amdocs Inc in addition to serving as CEO of Vubiquity Inc. (acquired by Amdocs). Prior to joining Vubiquity, Darcy served as President, Technical Operations, and Chief Technology Officer for Warner Bros Entertainment Inc, Before joining Warner Bros., Darcy held various executive positions at CBS across the Network, Washington DC News Bureau and for CBS Sports as a veteran of three Olympics. Ms. Antonellis holds three Emmys for technical production and engineering innovation, is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, an SMPTE Fellow, and has been issued a number of patents in the areas of video and its related metadata as well as sound manipulation. A recipient of a number of Industry acknowledgments, Ms. Antonellis most recently received the Industry’s Hollywood Professional Association’s (HPA) 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award. Darcy will bring to the Vionlabs BoD her expertise in Media Technology, specifically in the field of content production and how that content gets distributed and monetized downstream where deep content data is crucial for driving maximal content ROI.
JESSE REDNISS
Jesse Redniss is an Emmy-nominated media & technology executive and has spent 20+ years in media entertainment. He recently served as EVP of Data Strategy in WarnerMedia where he was running the data strategy and product innovations and heavily focused on innovation around AI and machine learning, personalization and recommendation engines, and user experiences. Before that he held various executive roles at NBCU and Turner. Through Jesse’s deep experience in the area of data, personalization, and AI, he has helped guide Vionlabs to focus on the growing opportunity of contextual advertising, driven by the privacy-wave sweeping across the digital world. He has also been instrumental in increasing the focus on AI-generated content metadata for personalization, which is at the core of Vionlabs’ future strategy.
The two new members join the existing board members: Stefan Lennhammer, Jonas Sjöborg, Martin Randel, and Kristina Schauman.
